The small self-balancing scooter named Ninebot Mini is born from the collaboration between Xiaomi and Ninebot. Ninebot itself is a company from China which received an injection of investment funds from Xiaomi. The company previously had acquired a Segway, and Ninebot Mini is the first product after buying a Segway.
Although the shape is not too special, but the price of the scooter is relatively very cheap. To drive the wheels, Ninebot Mini is powered by a battery. This scooter able to travel as far as 22 km with a single charge. While the speed can reach 16km / h and can travel a path with a slope angle up to 15 degrees.
Weights Ninebot Mini itself is not too heavy, which only weighs 12.8 kg. The size is not too big; Ninebot Mini can be inserted into the trunk of a car. This product also supports firmware update, and you can monitor speed and traffic through your Smartphone.
After officially announced, Xiaomi will begin launching Ninebot Mini to the Chinese market on 3 November with a set price of around $ 315 USD. But unfortunately, Xiaomi not provide certainty availability of these products to other countries.
