Google and Mozilla Refuses Hardware Domain "Dot Bro"

.bro Domain appearance ("dot bro") invites controversy among IT industry players. Google and Mozilla are two companies that most strongly opposed the presence of the domain. What's wrong?
Apparently, the two companies above agreed that .bro can trigger the issue of sensitivity to gender equality. Potential worst, the women will feel excluded and discriminated against.
"The Domain (.bro) had a gender issue, although its meaning is not merely tendentious way. It is better to avoid it," said Senior Google Engineer Zoltan Szabadka, as reported TheInquirer and quoted KompasTekno, Sunday (10/18/2015).
The pros and cons associated .bro domain was first triggered by Google. Then Mozilla helped to enliven a long discussion on the forum website, Bugzilla.
Reddit in online forums, discussions are also underway .bro domain Questioning heat. One member of the domain .bro discussions said there was nothing to do with discrimination against women.
"It's so stupid. People who are offended by the domain addresses had problems with their thoughts. It (.bro) just a slang expression to refer to male friends. They are concerned should go to the doctor," he said.
Szabadka back refute the opinion. "I asked my friend who lives in North American culture and is a feminist. According to him, .bro must be resisted," he said.
"Some of us might consider this trivial and need not be discussed at length. Even we do not understand how anyone can be offended. But, in fact many of those who could be offended and that reason strong enough to not use that domain," he added.

Last week, .bro domain has been converted into a .bro to dampen the sensitivity of the question. Even so, Mozilla and Google still considers the best way to avoid problems is to negate entirely the domain.
